The Old Terowie hospital served as the local district hospital from about 1910 through to the 1960's when it was closed, by now patients were seen at the hospital in Peterborough where much of Terowies railway affairs also ended up.

The Terowie hospital still served the local township of Terowie as a doctors residence and clinic for a further few years. Eventually in 1973 Karl and Karin purchased the property and raised their family here in Terowie while renovating the Old Terowie Hospital to its present cosy condition, with the family gone their home is open to you, rooming, enjoy the quiet country hospitality of Terowies premier B & B.
